I noticed that there was not a review on here for the IC-T2H 2 meter HT. I own this HT, it is a VERY rugged 6 watt HT, it has the power it needs.. I love this HT, but would much have perferred to get a Alinto DJ-196T, since the Icom T2H eats up battery power if ran on the 6 watts, and also has a very small display.

I give the IC-T2H an 8/10

I'd give the T2H a 9/10.. I have dropped it many times and it still works. If you NiMH batteries instead of NiCads and use the "low power" settings, the power usage isn't bad.

I am going to get a MaHA battery pack one of these days... Or maybe I will just go buy some NiMH's..

i like the t2h but i dont talk on it much because of the power useage on the batterys i mostly use my dad mobile

Yeah, once I got this base 2 meter I only use the T2H when I out at hamfests and such.. Or when I am outside watching an incoming storm.. I went to the local Skywarn class back in March and I look forward to going again this year.
